Does Electroless Nickel require post treatment?

A 2-3 microns thickness of Electroless Ni applied on Al sputtered layer (of about 3 microns thick)- does it require any post-treatment if the major object is to achieve high resistance to corrosion? If so, what is the adequate treatment?

You did not specify what environment will this be exposed to. Also, what is your definition of high resistance to corrosion. For most commercial applications a minimum of 12 microns is specified. The thickness you mention might work well but just for solderability purposes.
