Cracked clearcoat on powder coated finish

I race a dragster as a hobby. My car chassis has been powder coated and clearcoated. Its only 4 months old and within the last 2 months the finish is covered with hundreds of hairline fractures. The chassis builder has never seen this happen before and want to know if anyone might know the cause? Could the clearcoat be put on too thick? Improperly mixed clearcoat? The problem now is the car needs to be completely disassembled and refinished. Thanks to anyone with advice to avoid this in the future. It's a big job to redo the whole process.

"It's a big job to redo the whole process." Yes, but the job needs to be redone if you want it too look right. If the powdercoater is worth their salt, it won't be a problem getting their error fixed.
