Critique our proposed plating sequence for wire plating

2003

In my company we have an automatic line for nickel chrome electroplating for zama (zamak) and wire steel . Our main production has increased and these lines became not enough for that . So we will make a new manual line just for electroplating the wire steel and the proposed sequence for this line is as follows :-

1- hot dip chemical degreasing tank
2- cold water rinsing
3- cathodic degreasing tank
4- cold water rinsing
5- pickling tank (hydrochloric acid 400g/L)
6- cold water rinsing
7- anodic degreasing tank
8- cold water rinsing
9- cold water rinsing
10-copper cyanide tank (strike copper)
11-cold water rinsing
12-cold water rinsing
13- nickel tank (Watt's tank)
14-cold water rinsing
15-cold water rinsing
16- chrome tank
17-cold water rinsing

So what do you think about our sequence and we can reduce the number of tanks (cathodic and rinsing )in the line or not?

Finally thanks,

Aly,

How are you . Long time I didn't see you on my concept you don't need steps No.3,4 - 2 steps rinse is not urgent except after chrome which I prefer to be as flow: -chrome bath -rinse chrome reducer -rinse -dryer
