Hospital equipment mfgr. needs to color stainless steel

How can we colour stainless steel 304. We currently electropolish.

I'm not aware of any non-proprietary methods.You might contact B&M Finishers / Prismatic Stainless Steel [a finishing.com supporting advertiser] about the Prismatic Process, which I understand to be a thin anodized layer.
