Need alkaline solvent for gold electroplating
2003
Dear Sir,
Please supply me the alkaline base solvent for gold electroplating.
Thanks.

Hi, Abdul. It's cyanide, which is a deadly poison not only when ingested, but when inhaled as hydrogen cyanide if the cyanide is accidentally acidified. You must be very careful with this. I would suggest that you consider doing what almost all professional gold platers do, and buy a fully developed process from a supplier rather than trying to make your own from raw chemicals. Good luck.
