Removing Cr+6 ions from cyanide copper plating baths
Hello... how can we remove Cr+6 ions from cyanide copper plating baths?

Hi Emre. The plating chemical manufacturers offer "chrome kill" maintenance additives for cyanide copper plating, but their power is limited. Dumping the bath may be the only solution. The bigger question is how the chrome gets there. You may need to fix your rack coatings or strip the racks after the plating cycle. Good luck.
