Can my cooktop be changed to brushed stainless?
I have an almond cooktop in perfectly good shape, and would like to know if there is a way to make it brushed stainless steel.

Unless the cooktop vendor offers a replacement part, sorry, no. Stainless steel is a different metal than the steel which underlays your ceramic paint.
