What's the best way to clean off Aluminum Polish?
I have some aluminum parts that I buffed with brown tripoli buffing compound ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] . It leaves a black, waxy residue that I'm having trouble removing. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Well, you don't want to use any kind of caustic cleaner because that will etch the aluminum. And you don't want to use a solvent because that can remove the binders while leaving the abrasive grains behind. So I'd guess that a pressure washer is the best approach. You can get one suitable for casual use for under $100 these days.

I've tried
Meguiar's Mag & Aluminum Polish
[affil links]. it comes in a small can if you open it, it should be a pink cream, just get a small rag and rub with some on it
won't streak or stain very good stuff
