Need images of peeling electroplated jewelry

I am looking for a photo that shows "electroplated jewelry with the plating peeling off to reveal the base metal beneath." This image may be included in a college-level workbook on chemistry. If you have such an image, please email me.

Thanks.

No posts for this. I guess there are no images available out there.

Ed. note: Oh, I'm sure such pictures exist, Nigel. But people haven't seen this posting, or they don't want to bother, or whatever. Besides, peeling electroplated jewelry is almost unheard of if the plating quality was good, and what plating shop wants to publicize an occasional problem in a college level book when they have no control over it? "If you buy electroplated jewelry, this will probably happen to you!" :-)
