DO I HAVE GALVANIZED POISONING?
Q. MY BOYFRIEND WORKS WITH GALVANIZED PIPE ALL DAY. HOW CAN WE TELL IF THE POISON HAS AFFECTED HIM? HE HAS BEEN BREAKING OUT WITH RASHES ON HIS LEGS, STOMACH AND CHEST. THE RASH HAS A BURNING AND ITCHY FEELING... CAN YOU SEND ME PHOTOS OF AFFECTED PEOPLE? I HAVE LOOKED ON LINE AND HAVE FOUND NOTHING...PLEASE HELP...

Q. My boyfriend welded galvanized material for a period of approx. 5 hours on and off. Within twenty four hours he had what is described as gal flu. Now a week has passed and he has a very itchy rash that appears all over his body. I am worried that he has been poisoned by the fumes and maybe the galvanised particles may be trying to make their way out through his pores. Has anyone had similar symptom?
