Help to find 60 thru 180 grain finish standards (300 series ss)
I'm looking finish grain samples/masters for comparison of 60 grain thru 180 grain finishes on 300 series stainless steel. This requirement is for exterior parts of finished commercial products that require a consistent cosmetic finish. Samples/masters would aid in final inspection of these parts.
Thank you for your help and this site.

I suggest you check in with the manufacturers of belt systems, such as Timesaver, Inc. I'm not sure they would provide physical samples but they maybe able to re-direct you to who might. I don't think metal suppliers would be able to help you. NOTE: Flat sheet metal parts and samples should not be a problem; however, a better system would be to specify an RMS. Parts/pieces that can not run in a pass through or symmetrical pattern using the same grit belt as a flat part may appear slightly different and the RMS can change slightly.
