Need 'One Stroke' by NY Bronze Co.
Q. We are looking for New York Bronze Co., Inc. last city is Elizabeth , New Jersey. We are looking for a product that was made approximately 18 years ago, that we bought in Pergament Department Store. The name of the product is One Stroke complete one-step wood refinishing kit, for either interior or exterior use. The color that we are looking for is labeled on their box as dark walnut. All this information we have given you is straight off their box. We would like to know if they are still in business and would like to purchase this product.
Thank you very much for your help. Looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible. We are going crazy looking for this product.

Ed. note: One website claims that Krylon was formerly Nybco, but we can't find any such history on the web, and searching the Krylon site gives no hits for Nybco or New York Bronze. If anyone has any history to contribute, we'd be pleased to post it here.
But there isn't much point in printing more letters from people looking for a product that hasn't been made for years now -- if anyone wants to buy or sell leftovers, please try eBay , Craigslist, freecycle, Facebook marketplace or similar sources as we can't help with such transactions.

I FOUND IT! I FOUND IT!
I called the company and they discontinued One Stroke! I'm so depressed. They said they would have to have sold at least $50,000 a year to continue this product. Oh well. Good Luck everyone, I'm going to see what else I can find...

A. Unfortunately it's apparently not made anymore, but keep watching eBay . This thread has become about nostalgia, not about finding a distributor of a product that has been out of production for years now :-)

A. Hi Dan. I don't think anyone can say anything except "probably" or "probably not" -- and even that would depend on knowing its age. My guess is "probably" :-)
Readers: please don't submit offers to sell -- we can't post them. Please use a site designed for that purpose like eBay , Craigslist, Freecycle, or Facebook marketplace.
