Looking for CD Rom with metal and plastic textures

Hello,

I am looking for a CD Rom version of the Yick Sang Metal And Plastic Mould Texturing Limited book. What I mean by book is a collection of samples of each texture in plastic with the item number listed so I can tell the factories what texture I want to be place on items I am designing. It's like a texture pantone book. I have the book and would like to know if there is a CD Rom version of it from that company or any other company. I would also like to know if there is a CD Rom/program in which I could import these textures into my computer and use in my designs via Adobe Illustrator. Thank You for your time.

You can actually scan the Yick Sang Metal And Plastic Mould Texturing Limited book as a wholesome or photo of the texture you wanted and then complied them into a executable program with macromedia authorware or scalaMM200.

After then you can published your exe. program in a CD Rom format which you could import these textures into your computer or your client's computer.

Is there a cross referencing book/data available between Mold-tech texturing standards and Yick Sang Metal And Plastic Mould Texturing Limited's texturing standards?

Thank you,

Does anybody have a link for a web site where I can locate a contact to get my hands on one of the Yick Sang texture books? We had one at my last employer and I need one here at my new place. Thanks!

I am sure you can get it at the source:
Yick Sang Metal and Plastic Mould Texturing Limited. No 22Tsun Fat Street G/F To Kwan Kowloon. That's where I got mine. (8 Black sheets, one transparent and one white) Good luck!
If anything else fails you could borrow mine.

I need to define texture for the part what I have designed. Is there any internationally accepted standards followed by moulders?
If there are any standards, please let me know
Thanks
