Thermal deburr of pliable polyurethane parts
We make interior polyurethane door panels for the automotive industry. I am search for an inexpensive, yet effective way to remove mold flash around the edge of these parts. They measure roughly 3 ft x 4 ft x 6 inches. Is it possible to use thermal deburring on parts of this size and material? Please comment.

Hopefully you will get a response from someone with that equipment; however, I think it is an unlikely application. First of all, the burr has to be relatively small and/or thin, like ID threads. Second the size of your part maybe too big. Thickness may also present problems for heat. I suggest you consider wheel or belt systems.
