Removing oxidization from car paint




Yes, I have a 92 Honda Civic DX and the paint is burgundy. I would like to know how to remove the oxidization on the hood and roof without having to get a new paint job or without having the paint come off.
Please let me know ASAP.

Hi! I would recommend for you to use a good cleaner wax. Then follow up with a good sealer, then by a wax. it will be cheaper for you maybe to go to a auto body shop and ask them where they purchase their detailing supplies.

It is a lot cheaper to buy it by the gallon, as to have to buy it by the pint size , or however the local parts stores have.
One note, if your car is pretty oxidized, you may want to take it to a car detailer and let them buff it, unless you can do it yourself. If you have never buffed a car, it is very important not to burn the paint! - That's what most detailers know how to do. I detail cars, so if there's any other questions let me know.
