2003
Dear sir
I have problem may you help me please? We manufacture a stainless steel tank "316L" for transporting milk but I want to ask how can I get its surface polished I can't see any gloss.
Please suggest a procedure, thanks.

As I see it, the only way, is to mechanically polish the flat s/s sheets , prior to folding or welding. Follow by carefully pickling the welds, then detail polish the corners using a hand held hicycle polisher, single section sisal and fastcut compound. This works, because I have done it myself in the past.
