Galvanized tin walls around bathtub

2003

I am wanting to put galvanized tin on the walls around my bathtub all the way up to the ceiling and down to the top of the bathtub. I want to know exactly how to butt up the seams and what kind of glue to use, how to keep it waterproof, etc...
There are ridges in the tin that will make a gap every couple of inches or so. I don't think that is a problem except where the tin meets the tub. I don't want water to get between the sheets of tin and the sheetrock walls. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Melesa
