Zinc Nickel vs Cadmium
2003
Due to our ongoing elimination of Cadmium plating we are considering a change to electroplated zinc nickel.I would like to know what the relative throwing power (ability to plate into corners/down bores etc)is of Zn/Ni plating to Cadmium plating.
I appreciate the throwing power of Cd is relatively poor I would like to understand if Zn Ni is better or worse. Any other information regarding their relative merits would also be of interest

The ALKALINE zinc-nickel has a great throwing power just like alkaline zinc process.
