Pickling of SS pipes

After welding of Stainless steel pipes, would like to do pickling in order to remove any welding slag left inside the pies. please advs how to carry out the same.

Do enough Argon purging i/s the tube during welding. This will eliminate need of pickling. After pickling you need to scrub the surface to remove the oxide coating. complete removal can not be ensured without visual checking which may be possible by use of fibroscope/ boroscope. Pickling solution can be soft to very strong depending on the concentration of HF, HNO3 and Potassium-di-chromate. bye
