compatibility of S.S.316 with nitric acid

Can S.S.316 can resist corrosion against nitric acid at room temperature and temperature above 50°C.

Yes. But important to make sure that any welds are polished smooth and bright, or else the acid WILL find the iron in the raw S S and attack it.
