5083 Al alloy etchant
I am looking for a 5083 aluminium alloy etchant . Can you hlpe me.
I tried Kellers, Poultons etchants but not getting any results in getting microstructures.
Please help me.

Since alloy 5083 contains more than 3% Mg, you should not use Poulton's reagent.
Instead, try the following:
10 mL phosphoric acid (H3PO4 - 85%)
90 mL water (H2O)
Immerse at 50 °C for 3-5 minutes. If this over-etches the surface, immerse for 1 minute.
