Re-coat brass
I know that if brass gets a tarnished color I can strip the varnish with acetone ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] Warning! highly Flammable! or nailpolish remover and then polish. Can you tell me what to use to recoat the finish in order to prevent tarnish? Thank you.

Hi Dorothy. Brass Lacquer is best, although other clear coat products may be okay. Good luck.
