Potash vs. Potassium chloride
I work with a zinc plating line and need to know simply if potassium chloride is the same as murate of potash.

Murate of potash is the same as potassium chloride. However I would strongly suggest you only use potassium chloride from a reputable supplier and do not use cheaper non-technical grades as this can often have contaminants included and this could cause you all sorts of problems.
