Aluminum brightener on windshield
I accidentlly got aluminum brightener on a winshield and it made it milky looking , looking through the windshield is there a safe removal other than replacing the windshield.

First, there are new products out on the market that are a replacement for HF aluminum brightener that won't burn glass. Their is a jeweler's rouge ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] that you can use to buff out the glass to remove the white haze.
