Dear sirs, I m a leading industrialist of Rajkot in HDPE pipe and I want to know more about Porous pipes. I hope you may reply me for the machinery for making porous pipes. Thanking you.

Please go to the archives and hit # 16594 which was about porous plastic pipes ...

I've forgotten what was said on that article ... but it might be of some interest to you.

Your inquiry would have been answered sooner had you used the wording 'porous plastic pipe'

But the porous pipes were made from PVC and I have a gut feeling that this might NOT be possible with Pe. I do not know if special machinery is required (for PVC) because I'd guess that the pipe might have been made porous by some additives during the mixing/blending operation.

P.S. re. HDPE, I saw the first 4 foot dia. fusion pressure pipe ever made back in l958-9 in Hamburg ... now it's available to 5 feet dia. At the same time the first experimental extruder welder was on show.
