Sommelier needs color wheels with names

I am a restaurant manager and sommelier. I am searching for and in need of color wheels which include color names for employee wine training. My training literature includes, aroma wheels for both red and white wines. Information on grape varietals and their characteristics, major wine regions their climates and maps. I am looking for two color wheels. For white wine, starting from white through yellow to green ending in brown. For red wine, starting from white through pink to purple ending in brown also. Since all wine is produced from fruit, as it ages the color will eventually be brown. Color is a very strong indicator of age and varietal. All employee training and tastings are "blind" meaning that through sensory analysis and discussion we will establish the grape, age, country, region and type of wood the wine has been barrel aged in. Yes really! The color wheels would be very helpful. Thank in advance for any help. Sincere regards, C. Thayer Kern

This doesn't seem to have much to do with metal finishing, but I found it interesting!

Hi,

Don't know if this has been answered by anyone already but Oz clarke produces a number of fairly decent wine guides and I think there are wheels for both red and whites in his Introduction to Wine.

Hope this helps.

On a similar sort of theme I am looking for colour strips rather than wheels so I can try and produce my own tasting card.
