Can we use acidic activation in tri-cationic phosphating system?

We are using tri-cationic phosphating system before Electro deposition. We are using alkaline activation process. Can we use the acidic activation also in this system?

Dear Manish:

Unfortunately you can't use the acidic activation (Oxalic acid based) prior to tri-cationic phosphating bath . Mild alkaline colloidal titanium phosphate solutions are the best to use prior to this process.
