Dear Sir ,
We are doing Nickel Plating On Battery Caps Area about 2.0 sq. cms. We are finding the problem that after Nickel Plating the Finished Caps are getting rusted up in the form of Yellow Patches , Yellow Stains after Plating . please suggest us some method to avoidYellow Patches and Stains.
Thanking You, Regards,

Better plating :-)
It sounds like the plating is porous.

What is your substrate; unfortunately I haven't bought any battery caps from India in recent years and do not know what they are made from! The nickel could be thin and porous, allowing for corrosion of the substrate, but with so little information this is only a guess. Perhaps you can tell us where on the cap it is going yellow - is it in a low current density area?

Dear sir,
I hope you are doing barrel plating if yes check metal content, boric acid etc optimize it and also check if your barrel holes not chocked up. More detail can be of more help.
