New Aluminum Alodizing Chemicals Available
I have new chemicals for alodizing aluminum available through a state waste exchange program. These chemicals are in the original packaging, but the seals have been broken and a portion of each package has been used. I'm looking for someone else that can use these - please let me know if you are interested. The chemicals are:
Parker Amchem DeOxalume D-90 (1/2 drum)
Parker Amchem Ridoline 18 (1/4 drum)
Parker Amchem P3-Almeco 18 (1/4 drum)
150 # Mica Powder

I am trying to find more information about several plating or surface treatment processes using Alodine, ridoline or grenidine (not sure of the spelling of the last one) but I haven't been able to find much. I am particularly interested in the chemicals used and the chemistry of the process (I understand that these are not electrochemical processes but can be used in dip tank types of operations.
Many Thanks for any leads or direct info.

Alodine is a Henkel Surface Technology [Madison Heights, MI] trade name for chromate conversion coating chemicals. Ridoline is their trade name for metal cleaning products, and Granodine their trade name for phosphatizing chemicals.
