Moisture Resistant Powder Coating

For M.S. CRCA 1.6 mm thick Panel cabinet to be installed open in atmosphere, specially in high humid conditions of Mumbai, India, what type of finishing should one go for, Powder Coat or Liquid Epoxy Paint, whether 100 micron thickness of Epoxy Polyester ( Hybrid ) Powder will be ok to sustain, also the cabinets receives highly humid fumes through underground pipes which enters in to them.

Thanks,

Atul,

You should not use a hybrid powder in outdoor conditions. You should use a polyester powder coating. Powder coating behaves well in humid conditions depending on the pre-treatment you use on the substrate.

Hope this helps,
