Sea spray resistant paint

I purchased a home on the Northern California Coast. The exterior has been replaced with HardiPlank, a concrete and fiber product which looks like wood. I am seeking the highest quality paint I can find to withstand heavy salt spray. At times water actually splashes on the house.

Your best source of information will be going to 3 different paint stores in your area, since they will be the most familiar with the climate. From what you gave, I think that you want an oil based enamel altho there are some very good acrylic enamels available. Nearly anything will work well on Hardi-Plank. It is great stuff.
