-----Looking for the difference between Alodine and Conversion Coating
I have a customer requesting an Alodine process over a conversion coat. Is there a definite difference or does it have something to do with one using more lead in the process than the other.

Alodine is a Henkel trade name for their line of chromate conversion coating processes. Alodine is to chromate conversion coating as Bayer is to aspirin. And just as Bayer comes in enteric versions, extra strength, caplet, etc., etc., Henkel offers many different Alodine processes.
