How to make Polyresin items?

I would like to know where to find the raw material to make polyresin items. Is it like a 2 part epoxy that you mix together? Can this material be handled by a hobbyist or does it require a large setup with heavy machinery?

Thank you,

There are more casting resins than you can count on both hands and both feet. How big? M-1 Abrams tank, VW bug or lady bug size. What other required specs? color, hardness, clearness, distortion, channels or protuberances, and a long list of other possibilities. Once you define what you want, know what quantity you reasonably expect to use, you can start contacting vendors. The cheapest is not the right choice. Go with a company that has great technical support.

I am also looking for raw polyresin to make into blocks for print making because I found using wood blocks costly and not environmental.

Polytek is commonly used (mixture of polyurethane with resin), I noticed commonly used for helmet products (best to create mould from silicone rubber, harnessed in fibre mould).
