Painting Old Winnebago

2003

Need to paint an old 1974 Winnebago motor home. Aluminum outer skin has failing white paint, faded, worn thin, & in places gone. What surface prep is required, special (user/home friendly) primer, & type of paint for top coat. Not making a "showpiece" just trying to make it presentable.

Thanks for any help/advise.

I have a Winnie that needs painting. Were you successful in 2003? If so, who did the work for you? What was the cost then? Thanks.

Any answers? Searching the web in October of 2005 & hoping to get my 1945 Winnie painted for an anniversary gift to my hubby.

Let me know.
