Black rhodium bath

I would like, if you please, you explain me how to bath with black rhodium [adv: black rhodium plating solution on eBay or Amazon [affil links] on a gold piece. And the final aspect be as result matte.

Thanks

I might be misunderstanding your inquiry, Clara, but the general answer is that plating is a service that a consumer buys; plating is an industrial science that takes time to learn, not something you learn how to do from an internet posting in order to plate a couple of pieces as a hobby.

It's certainly not impossible to do it yourself, but that's not the usual answer, and both gold and rhodium are so terribly expensive that you really should get a lot of practice in on plating of less expensive metals onto less expensive substrates before considering this project. Good luck, but do some nickel plating on brass first :-)
