Gold plating inquiry

Right now, we are having problems with regards to the solderability of gold and soft gold plating. May I know when to classify each type in terms of the thickness? What type of solder paste can we use in hard gold?

Hi,

When you say hard gold.. is it plated gold or Gold plated on some other metal (Au over Ni)? If it is over Nickel . any solder paste will do .. depending on your processing conditions. If it is just plated with Gold .. what is the base metal and what is the thickness of gold.

Pls let us know clearly ..
