I want to know , whether better alternative hexavalent chromium passivation. Zirconium passivation is it ok ? for phosphating post passivation. there is any alternative toner chemical for controlling iron content in phosphating bath. since sodium nitrate

chemical is hazardous one. In our fasteners phosphating process, in pickling we have maintain HCl concentration 60- 100 g/ liter in HCl whether we can use inhibitor for this?
Please reply some experts at the earliest.

I happened to visit an automobile factory recently and they informed me that they are using Zirconium for passivation of the car body. I do not have more information. However, I guess that you also have parts which go in automobile, hence it should work. What I want to know is, where do you get the supplies of this chemical.
