Corrosion resistant coating for stainless steel wanted

I bought a sheet of PVC coated stainless steel with a #3 brushed finish that I want to use as a backsplash between the stovetop and the vent-hood in our kitchen. What spray-on coating can I use to keep it corrosion-free and easy to clean? Preferably something do-able for a do-it-your-selfer.

Hespia ceramic coating agent (it is liquidified) will be a solution. It is applicable in spraying method and non-stick property is as good as other product.
