Dissimilar Metals
We are installing Stainless Steel gutters and a Stainless Steel standing seam roof attached to a galvanized steel roof structure. Is there a need to separate these two metals? If so, what is recommended?

I would suggest you do have an electrically insulating barrier between the two parts, otherwise you will get preferential corrosion of the galvanised steel. By connecting stainless steel to galvanised steel, you will create an electrochemical cell, not unlike a battery, especially in the environment you intend to use it.
