Passivation alternative

Dear Sir,

We are a manufacturer of Galvanized steel Structure. The galvanized products surfaces are treated after galvanizing by passivation in dichromate solution " Sodium Dichromate " Na2 Cr2 O7 . The objective of this treatment is to prevent the formation of "White Rust" on the galvanized surface, during storage, sea transportation and erection at sever corrosion site.Is there any other solution/treatment currently in practice to achieve the same objective?

Alternative method of temporary white rust prevention is a harmless clear lacquer. Simple soak application directly after galvanizing
