New chrome plating needs finishing

We just had some parts sent out and chromed for a motorcycle. The job looks ok but I'm a nut about perfection and in some of the deep curves on the metal the chrome appears unpolished (dull). I buff paint all the time but I have a feeling this may be a bit of a different animal. I need to know what products (Materials and equipment) I need to bring this up to my standards. Also a couple places the metal was designed with a rough texture and the chrome there is a bit dull also. I've never researched the how to's of chrome plating so pardon my ignorance and thanks in advance for the help. HELP!

Thanks,

From patience (and rework I would say) comes perfection. There is nothing you can do to fix a dull chrome plate but to strip it and do it again. Speak to your plater about this attitude of yours about perfection. If he doesn't share it look for another plater. G. Marrufo-Mexico
