Looking for analysis lab with Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy Capability

Looking for an analysis lab with the capability for contaminant studies on hard anodized aluminum using Vapor Phase Decomposition - Atomic AbsorptionSpectroscopy (VPD-AAS) and Glow Discharge Mass Spectroscopy with sputtering capability (20um depth)

Try Charles Evans Associates somewhere near Phoenix, AZ. They are specialized in several of such techniques for material analysis. Be ready to spend a lot of money!

I don't know of a test lab with the Vapor Phase Decomposition capability with Atomic Absorption. Many laboratories have AA capabilities. Anderson Laboratories in Milwaukee has glow discharge, but typically use it for more routine metal analysis. They may or may not be able to help you with a special project.

Regarding the previous post for Charles Evans Laboratories - their headquarters are in Redwood City CA. I don't know if they can do this or not. If you are interested in trying some other methods for surface analysis, such as ESCA or SIMS, please contact me for more information.
