How to reduce dross when laser cutting nitinol?

I am a project engineer in charge of developing the following application: laser cutting of nitinol tubing used for medical devices. My question is what is the best way to laser cut nitinol to reduce dross?

Kevin,

I think this is a question for you laser supplier. I know of several companies doing nice laser cutting on nitinol, but they would be competitors to your in-house desires. Are you with Guidant?
