I am a student in Hacettepe university and if you can send me a detailed information about coating the bottom part of ironing machine with teflon (politetrafloretilen), I will be glad to you.

Hi Mehmet,
I know zilch about teflon coatings but don't quite understand what you mean by an ironing machine. An ordinary flat iron? Or a commercial machine?
For the former, there was a teflon type 'cover' that fitted over the bottom of the iron and was tied on... we bought one and it lasted a few years.
I doubt that it was a true teflon, probably one of the lesser expensive and more flexible fluorocarbons which some, one of them, masquerade under the teflon name such as FEP teflon. This cover was very thin, approx. 1/l6" or less (1-1/2 mm or less).
