Stripping solder from components - Help!

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am looking for help on stripping electronic components of solder. I am examining a new process of component attachment for which I need bare copper leads. I am doing this as part of my PhD and I would like to recycle components. Although there is information on the chemicals required, I can't seem to find information on the chemical content, ratio or temperature for stripping. As this is PhD work in a lab with a restricted budget, I am looking for the simplest method that works. Thank you for your time and expertise.

What many people who are in research rather than industry don't realize is that, just as you don't have to build your own electron microscope, you don't have to develop your own process chemistry. If you wish, you can simply buy a stripper made for this purpose from a company which has already done the development work. Look up plating supplies in your phone book or in our directory of Chemicals and you can buy a solder stripper.
