Decorative Chrome on a partially Epoxy Coated Part
Is there a possibility that I can selective apply a decorative Chrome finish to a BeCu part that is partially Insulated with an Epoxy? I would want the epoxy to survive the plating process and stay intact as part of the finished part. I know I can plate first, but there are some advantages if I can plate last. Has anyone done this?

Nothing wrong with the concept. I have seen selectively powder-coated nameplates plated by the thousands. Whether the powder coating was epoxy-based or not, I don't know though.
