How to start an electroplating works

My friend's father was doing electro plating works, but he did not want to tell me about electroplating. I don't know why. Now I am really interested in electroplating. I want to learn about that and I want to start an industry for electro plating. With full details, thanks, a lot of thanks. Please help me for that and please give me information about how to start.
