Plating on Polyester Resin Casts

Q. We do, among other products, electroplating on polyester resin and glass. We were not successful with some conductive paints. Can anyone help a good product that we can use, without peeling after plating.

A. Dear Ghassan

Plating of polyester could be done directly without conductive paint or graphite or the like. WE are DOING THAT IN EGYPT many years now. It is same as ABS with special alkaline etching. I will try to show you some of our phenolic product plated with gold and different kinds of patina.
