Help on refinishing doorknobs
Q. I have a question on re-finishing. I have several doorknobs that are the bright shiny brass, I'm not sure what they are made of, but I was wondering if there was a way to dull the shine and age them without the aged effect to rub or wear away? Please help.
Thank you,

Q. Would like to know how to make my bronze ugly doorknobs have a cool finish. I have had a formula in the past but lost it. I remember one ingredient was muriatic acid ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] . Do you know this formula?
