Aluminum lost wax like process with nickel plating
I am under the impression that there is a lost wax like process which uses aluminum to form the cavity of a mold or custom shape.The aluminum may be produced with intricate detail and later nickel-plated with substantial thickness to support itself. The aluminum is removed in a corrosive bath leaving behind a mold cavity made of nickel with the same intricate detail as the aluminum. Can you please help me find some one that has this capability.

Yes, Ray, what you are describing is what the industry calls "nickel electroforming" onto a perishable aluminum mandrel. Many parts are built this way. Please post an RFQ describing exactly what it is that you need and how many, etc..
